Tuesday The Sky – The Blurred Horizon

Jim Matheos, guitarist of the historic progressive metal band Fates Warning, returns with an album of his solo project Tuesday The SkyThe Blurred Horizon.

The Blurred Horizon turns more on ambient music, electronics and a minimal post rock than the previous LP Drift

Special guests are Gavin Harrison on drums on 5 songs and Tim Bowness for the closing song Everthing Is Free, only with vocals:
it is cover of a Gillian Welch and David Rawlings.

'Cause everything is free now
That what I say
No one's got to listen to
The words in my head
Someone hit the big score
And I figured it out
And we're gonna do it anyway
Even if doesn't pay

(Everything Is Free)

It is not an easy album at first listen, but if you will take your time and you will be patient in hearing and listening to every single note and sound, you will appreciate a painstaking work:
a soundtrack for the periods of reflection, where songs like Hypneurotic, The Blurred Horizon and Everything Is Free, stand out.
