Lucifer – Lucifer IV
Music Suggestion
Frontwoman Johanna Sadonis formed Lucifer in 2014 as multinational hard rock band.
Lucifer IV is the last album released at the end of October 2021.
After several line-up changes, Lucifer continue their journey into retro hard rock with sixties and seventies sounds, with a sound that takes clear inspiration from sacred monsters such as Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Blue Öyster Cult, Lucifer’s Friend, Steppenwolf, Heart and Fleetwood Mac.
All the proposed songs are listenable and enjoyable and also the production goes to refresh the typical rock sound of the years of rock and classic hard rock.
The pop priestess diva Johanna Sadonis, who is lead vocalist, song writer and producer, always offers a thoughtful interpretation with always captivating and catchy vocal lines.
We’ll ride wild hearses
Wild Hearses
You and I
Past tombs and churches
Tonight
We’ll ride wild hearses
You and I
Someday when we are dust
And all that shines now turned to rust
In our death dream it’s always you and me
We’ll ride wild hearses
You and I
Past tombs and churches
Tonight
We’ll ride wild hearses
We’ll never die
Sadonis takes inspiration from the occult, spirituality, magic and numbers, as she herself declares:
… The music is very laden with spirituality and magic is like a central topic in the music, whether it being in the lyrics or how I present everything, the whole visual stuff but also numbers.
